Days turn unusually hot; temp crosses 35 degree mark

BHOPAL : Day temperature in the city is ruling quite above normal while night temperature was normal or below normal all over the state. Scorching heat has enhanced the discomfort level in day time. Day temperature of 39.2°C was recorded in Gwalior and Khajuraho on

Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 36.8 °C which was 4°C above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 19.9 °C which was normal.

Bhopal had recorded   highest maximum temperature 38.3°c on October 12, 2012. The lowest minimum temperature 11.7°c on October 31 1943 and October 27, 1971. Not only in the state capital, the Day temperature is above normal all over the state.

Gwalior recorded a maximum temperature of 39.2 °C which was 5°C above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 20.1°C which was 1°C below normal.

Khajuraho recorded a maximum temperature of 39.2 °C which was 5°C above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 19.6°C which was 1°C below normal. As per the meteorological department, there is no moisture content in atmosphere and the weather is sunny. That is day temperature is soaring.
