Katni : A wild bear attacked on a couple, who had gone in the jungle to pick-up wood in village Rohnia near here on Tuesday.
In the incident, both husband and wife injured seriously and rushed to district hospital. According to sources, the victims were identified as Jaitu (50) and Sakhibai (45), both residents of village Rohania had gone in the forest to pick-up wood, when a wild bear attacked on them and injured seriously. When both the victims shouted, the bear ran away in the forest. After the mishap, both the injured were first brought to primary health centre of village Amadara and after giving first aid, they were referred to district hospital, Katni.
