Bhopal: Gearing up for election battle against the BJP government by holding rallies at divisional headquarters across the state, Congress workers clashed with another and insulted MPCC chief Kantilal Bhuria at a meeting in Sagar on Saturday in Sagar.

The meeting was called to prepare for massive rally on December 27 in which the party expects the presence of one lakh workers. Local office- bearers were invited in the meeting convened at Adarsh Garden Ground in Sagar. When the meeting was under process, some workers reached stage and had arguments with Bhuria. Other leaders tried to intervene but failed.
Bhuria too took the mike to address the workers but some of them snatched the mike from him. According to the insiders, supporters of Union minister Kamalnath had arguments with the PCC chief.
When media persons questioned Bhuria for action against workers who created chaos in the meeting, he said, district Congress president Heera Singh Rajput had been asked to conduct a probe into the incident and submit a report. Bhuria discussed the preparations with block presidents.
