BHOPAL : The Central Bureau of Investigation, on Friday, filed a charge-sheet against two accused persons, including a candidate and a middleman, who had arranged an impersonator under sections 120 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the IPC and section 3 and 4 of MP Recognised Examinations Act, 1937 in the court of special judge, Vyapam cases, Jabalpur.
The investigations had revealed that the candidate took the assistance of an impersonator in the written examination of PMT-2009 with the help of middleman. After intensive efforts, the middleman, who was absconding since the registration of FIR by the local police, was arrested from Kanpur by the CBI in May this year and presently he is in judicial custody. The middleman was allegedly keeping the ill-gotten cash in the bank account of his brother. The expert opinion of CFSL on the signature on the OMR answer sheet had proved that the candidate had not appeared in the examination and that the unidentified impersonator had appeared on his behalf. The investigation against unidentified impersonator and other accused persons is continuing.
