Career College students hold camp in Raisen village

Bhopal: With a view to create awareness about hygiene and health and to inculcate basic knowledge of nutritious food, ‘Health and Nutrition Awareness Programme’ was conducted by the Department of Education, Career College  in Tigra village, district Raisen, near Sanchi. A camp was organised in Government Primary School.

The B. Ed students, along with their faculty members, checked the general health and wellbeing of these village children. It included examining their height, weight and body mass index and accordingly they were categorised and counselled separately to improve their overall health.

Bananas were distributed to children to create awareness of nutritious food. Aim was to convey the message of sound health and hygiene. Soaps were also distributed to them in order to encourage them to use it before and after every meal.
