Burglars strike at two houses

BHOPAL: Valuables worth Rs 1.50 lakh were stolen from a house located in Ayodhya Nagar area. According to police, victim Anant Pandey, resident of Rajiv Nagar situated on Ayodhya bypass road, works as an accountant in Central Jail. He had gone visit his brother-in-law on Saturday. His brother-in-law is undergoing treatment in a hospital.

As he returned in the morning on Sunday, he found the lock broken and valuables including cash all to the tunes of Rs 1.50 lakh were missing from the home. Police have registered a case against the burglars and started investigation.

In another incident of a theft at a BHEL employer’s house has been registered by Piplani police. According to police, Rajesh Kumar lives in Anand Nagar located in Piplani area.   He had gone to his in-laws house with his family. As he returned, he found valuables worth Rs 95 thousand missing from his house.

Police have registered an FIR against unidentified thieves and launched a manhunt to nab them.
