BHOPAL : For the first time the officers and the employees of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) paid a visit to the customers at their doorstep to know their problems and also for their suggestions to improve the communication services. The drive was launched in the entire state from Monday.
Chief general manager GC Pandey informed Free Press that on every Monday the officers including other staff will meet the customers of BSNL. People should know what services we are providing, besides the salary we draw and who are our contributors”.
He further added that it is a beginning of changing the mindset of the employees and the customers towards each other. A unique concept 3-MMM, which stands for the Mass Marketing Movement, has been launched. The campaign will end in the month of August.
In the team of CGM, joint GM Arun Kumar, sales and marketing, visited prominent business companies of the city and enquired about their problems.
One of the power sector company has demanded to provide 650 connections for their office, whereas the owner of a Mall has asked to establish WiFi set up.
There are 34 telecom districts in the state, and around 4,500 officials of the company have been instructed to visit at least 20 customers on a day.
He added that the BSNL is one the biggest telecom network company, which organises public grievances camps for their customers.
