Bhopal: A well-planned strategies need to counter such an attack and give a befitting reply to the perpetrators of the attack. Any such strategies should have an element of surprise, said military officials posted in the city, against the backdrop of Pulwama terror attack.
The attack occurred on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Pulwama district on Thursday noon. They told Free Press that nothing should be done in hurry. And they also blamed security lapses and leadership failure for the tragedy. They felt that the person responsible for it should also be punished.
One of them also said that there is need to motivate soldiers and boost their morale. Excerpts: No doubt, it is very worst attack and we all are very shocked. And we must counter such attack so that no one dares to such a thing again, but not in hurry. Our strategies should be well-planned.
It should have an element of surprise. If we do surgical strike again, it is nothing new for them. So, we should take action secretly and carefully. We will have to surprise them. I think, it is failure of leadership not soldiers. The attack on National Highway is strategic target. And it is not occurred for the first time. But important thing here is that who will take responsibility of our soldier’s security. The top leadership of CRPF has failed to tackle such attack.
