Bhopal: The police headquarters administration is annoyed over jeans and T-shirts worn by officers during duty hours. The ADG administration has sent letter to the officers to wear uniform on every Tuesday. The circular in this regard was issued on December 17, 2012. It is found that officers are not only ignoring instructions from the headquarters but also wearing jeans, T-shirts, sports shoes etc office hours. They are ignoring the circulars and not maintaining the decorum of the office.
It is instructed that officers and other employees should wear formal shirt, trousers and leather shoes during the office hours. Female officers and employees were instructed to wear salwar kurti and sari. It also instructed the officers to wear formal uniform on every Tuesday and they should keep the grace of office.
