Bhopal: Vichar MP to launch ‘Jabab Do-Hisab Do’ to corner government

BHOPAL: The whistleblowers have constituted a non-political outfit Vichar Madhya Pradesh to take on the state government on four fronts – malnutrition, mining on Narmada banks, Vyapam scam and agriculture. The front will work at district level all over the state. Its executive body will manage the entire affairs, so no office-bearer has been appointed.

Ex-MLA Paras Saklecha, addressing the first press conference of the body at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday, said, “We will launch “Jabab Do-Hisab Do” movement from Monday till March 15 going among public by organising agitation, seminar, workshop, rally and public meetings.”

“We will corner the state government on budget through four issues of malnutrition, illegal mining of sand on banks of Narmada, Vyapam scam, and agriculture. Generally it has been seen that proper fund is not allocated and if fund has been allocated, it is not spent properly. So, we will raise the issue in public and even in the court,” said Saklecha.

Dr Anand Rai said, “There are many of us working in different departments but they have become fed up with system or corruption so they have joined the non-political forum to discuss the issue and raise the issue in the public.”

Ex-DGP Vijay Vate, ex-IFS officer Azad Singh Dabas, former central cooperative bank chairman Vijay Tiwari, AAP leader Akshay Hunka, whistleblower Prashant Pandey, Dr Anand Rai shared the dais.

Police see red over Gandhi Bhavan skipping permission for programmes

The Shyamala Hills police have taken a serious objection over Gandhi Bhavan Trust organising programme without intimating the police. Police have instructed the trust not to permit for any programme without prior permission of administration.

The police sent a notice to the trust, which was pasted on boundary wall of Gandhi Bhavan.  Police, in its notice, said that Trust does not inform the police while even up to three programmes are organised on a single day in Gandhi Bhavan. Even programmes of political parties are held and it is a matter of grave concern, notice said. Now the trust will have should not permit any programme without prior permission of administration.
