Bhopal: Bhopal sizzled at 42.7 degree Celsius and the night temperature on intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday rose sharply by 2.5 degree Celsius. It recorded a minimum temperature of 31.2 degree Celsius. Many places in MP including Sheopurkalan, Guna, Shajapur and Rajgarh recorded 44 degree Celsius.
Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 40.5 degree Celsius while it recorded a minimum temperature of 24.8 degree Celsius. A trough is extending from East MP up to the South Konkan may bring light to moderate rains over parts of East MP.
Light rains may occur in next 24 hours in: Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur and Sagar divisions while other districts like Bhind, Morena, Gwalior, Datia, Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Betul, Hoshangabad, Khandwa, Khargone, Burhanpur, Badwani, Dhar, Indore and Ujjain.
However, still varied weather continue to prevail in different parts of MP- Eastern MP experienced rain while its northern part is still facing the brunt of hot weather. Maximum temperature recorded a few places.
