Dharampuri: A truck hit a bike here on Manawar Road, killing two of the riders on the spot, while the third victim died at a hospital during treatment.
Sources said the incident took place near Chhoti Jheen at around 2pm, when a truck (MP 09 HF 9832) coming from Khalghat side on its way to Manawar hit the bike. Inder (60) and Luka (58) died on the spot while Mayaram (35) breathed his last at the hospital.
A huge crowd gathered at the spot, which protested the rash driving by the trucker that led to the deaths. TI KS Sahu reached the spot with his team and dispersed the crowd. The errant truck was seized.
