The Election Commission of India has ordered that a case be register against the transport minister Govind Singh Rajput for violating the election model code of conduct, here on Thursday. The Chief electoral officer VL Kantha Rao said that the BJP had filed the complaint against the minister of the MCC violation.

The instructions had been given to the SP Sagar to register the case against the minister. The BJP spokesperson Rajnish Agarwal informed that the minister, while addressing the public meeting in Sagar had stated abusive words against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP had already filed the complaint against the minister to the ECI, but they did not pay any attention on the complaint. The ECI took action on their complaint after they had given the reminder to the ECI.
