HOSHANGABAD: The induction training programme of newly-appointed anganwadi workers is underway at the district training centre of district hospital from March 1. It will continue till March 6. On the second day of the training on Thursday, Sanjay Tripathi, district programme officer, ICDS Services, addressing the trainees, urged them to be conscious of their responsibilities and duties.
Veena Baurasi, project officer Babai gave ECCE training to the workers. They were told in detail about the pre-school education of children. The training programme is being conducted by supervisor Shweta Patwa. The workers are being trained in the objectives of the ICDS services, nutritional status of children of 0-5 years age-group, their growth chart, immunisation schedule and Mangal Diwas etc.
