AICC president Rahul Gandhi tried his best to boost the morale of Congress workers. He said for him public comes first then comes Congress workers and after that comes leaders. When Congress forms the government workers voice would be heard and one who does not open doors to a worker would not remain on chair be it minister or chief minister.

On ticket distribution for assembly elections, Gandhi said one observes that at the time of elections leaders appear out of nowhere. Several come from other parties. All are welcome but ticket would only be given to genuine party workers. “I can assure you that ticket would not be given to paratroopers,” said Gandhi. Later while replying to a question posed by a congress worker, Gandhi replied that ticket distribution would be done strictly going by the survey. Recommendation of block and district presidents would hold weight and winning candidate would be given ticket.

Giving example of Sachin Tendulkar, he said that he is known as run making machine. Attacking CM Shivraj, Gandhi said that Shivraj is like a ghoshna (announcement) machine. Shivraj made about 21000 announcements but people know very well how many of them have been fulfilled. PM Modi makes false promises there and Shivraj repeats them here. Rahul started his interaction with the workers after his speech.

He left the dais and walked on the ramp that reached till the workers. He said that now I am between you. “If a leader doesn’t reach out to public then he cannot be considered as a leader. And this is a signal too,” said Gandhi before starting his interaction with Congress workers. Gandhi also released theme song for the upcoming assembly elections on the occasion.

Mansarovar again and again

State PCC chief Kamal Nath felicitated Gandhi with a shawl and shriphal after his pilgrimage to Mansarovar. MP is the first state visited by AICC president after his return from Mansarovar yatra, said Scindia in his speech. Most of the leaders who addressed the workers didn’t forget to mention Mansarovar in their speech. During interaction too, a question was asked by state media president, Shobha Oza on how did he feel after returning from Mansarovar. Gandhi replied a journey like this it takes one to depth of spiritualism and evokes positive change of thoughts.

Tussle for entry into VIP arena

Ajita Vajpayee Pandey was seen scolding Sewa Dal workers and the security staff near the entry to VIP area. Security was not allowing Pandey’s husband and daughters in the VIP area. Her tussle with Congress sewa dal workers and security personnel continued for more than 20 minutes and ended with her daughters entering into the VIP arena.

Jailing Vyapam accused will be mentioned in our manifesto

Replying to a question of Maya Trivedi from Ujjain on women safety, Gandhi said that a BJP MLA in Uttar Pradesh was accused of rape but Modi didn’t utter a word. This will not happen in my government. “More tickets would be given to women candidates in assembly elections,” assured Gandhi. Tickets would be distributed well in time, he added. Gandhi attacked Shivraj by saying that everybody knows who benefitted from e-tendering scam. He said that all Vyapam accused will be caught and put behind bars and this would be mentioned in the manifesto as well.

BJP government has completely destroyed the education system of the state. The youth of MP wants employment. Most of the products today are made in China. “When Congress government comes to rule your phones would be made in Bhopal/Madhya Pradesh. You have seen the big-mouths; they haven’t done anything in 15 years. They don’t know how to do it,” said Gandhi. Gandhi said that Gabbar Singh Tax would be abolished and the GST (Goods and Service Tax) would be implemented in its true form.
