BHOPAL: The burglars struck at two houses and decamped with booty worth Rs 1.5 lakh in both cases at Hanumanganj police station area on Thursday. As per police sources, Kashish Gangwani, 33, resident of New Sindhi Colony, had gone out of station to meet her mother-in-law on January 10 and when she returned on Thursday she found locks of main gates broken. The household belongings were scattered around on the floor and jewelry and cash worth Rs 80,000 were stolen.
Similarly, Ashwin Vaidya, 56, son of Ved Prakash Vaidya, runs a shop in Liaquat Market. When he reached his shop on Thursday, he found locks of shutter broken. The burglars had decamped with materials worth Rs 70,000.
