Bhopal: State’s highest tri-colour to be hoisted today

BURHANPUR: Celebrating the 68th Republic Day in town, the district will mark another achievement on the day as state’s highest flag of 72 metres will be hoisted at Marichika Garden near Station Road. State BJP president Nandkumar Singh Chauhan and minister of state Archana Chitnis will unfurl the tri-colour at 12 noon followed by Republic Day celebration. This was informed by mayor Anil Bhau Bhosle. The flag’s placement and place’s beautification has been done by Bajaj Electricals, Indore. The flag shall wave for 24 hours.
