Bhopal: State players continue winning streak in national rowing champ

BHOPAL: The players of the state continued their good performance in 35th National Rowing Championship and entered the semifinal. On Sunday, 32 races in 2000 meters hits were conducted in boys and girls categories.

In Coxless pair event, in girl category, Rukmani and Sona Kir of the academy secured places in semi final. In Coxless-4 event Ramanjeet Kaur, Karuna Devi, KM Geeta and Amandeep Kaur also reached the semifinals.

In boys, Kuldeep and Prince, reached semi-finals in Coxless Pair event and in Double scull (under 25), Vishakath and Surendra Parmar and in Coxless 4 event Ankit, Rohit, Aman and Manas entered semifinals. In Coxless 4 (light weight), Vishwajeet, Lucky, Umar, Farooq and Bhanu Pratap Singh entered semi finals. The semi-finals will be played on Monday and finals on Tuesday.
