Bhopal: Shocker to Antony deSa, registrar SN Rupla resigns from RERA

Bhopal: Former IAS SN Rupla has resigned from the post of registrar of appellate tribunal of Madhya Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory (RERA). RERA chairman, Antony deSa got Rupla appointed. Rupla after his retirement was appointed as officer-on-special-duty (OSD) to former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Rupla in the recent past, resigned from the OSD post, and during assembly polls, had accompanied Chouhan during his election tours. Rupla’s appointment was highly resented by Congress leaders. They had made complaints in this regard to Chief Minister Kamal Nath and state in-charge Deepak Babaria.

After the complaint, deSA was asked to take resignation from Rupla. deSa is facing allegations of patronizing some more officers. Satish Chandra Mishra, principal secretary, coordination, is appointed on contract basis in the office of chief secretary, because of being close to deSa. Congress leaders had complaint about it and the former may be removed in the coming time.
