BHOPAL: The state government seems to have an objection with the display of photo of ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Chouhan had resigned on December 12 after assembly poll results being announced on December 11. Kamal Nath took oath as Chief Minister in a function held on December 17.

It has been around three months after Chouhan stepping down but his picture does not figure at Mantralaya amongst the photo of ex-Chief Ministers. These photos are displayed in a hall at Mantralaya and the place, where Chouhan’s photo is to be displayed, is still vacant.

An officer, on the condition of anonymity, said that there was no reason behind not putting Chouhan’s photo. He said the picture could not be displayed because of mistake.
