BHOPAL: BJP National vice president and former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday visited a slum, where a minor was raped and killed last week.
The former CM made the visit to ensure formation of Beti Bachao Abhiyan Mohalla Samiti. Chouhan said it was a completely a non-political campaign with the sole objective of ensuring safety of minors. All citizens should come forward and remain vigilant, said Chouhan.
He said that religious heads of all religions should come forward and strengthen the movement. He urged everyone to write to CJI, urging him to ensure death penalty to rapists.
