Bhopal: “The government is trying ban the Blue Whale game but for the condition of children, parents including society, family and government all are responsible,” expressed CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing the state-level programme organised on Teacher’s Day, at Model School, here on Tuesday. He also made many declarations for teachers on the occasion. Twenty-five per cent posts would be reserved for the Guruji in teachers’ recruitment, he said.
Sports teachers will be appointed in schools. Those who have completed 30 years in service will get third time scale. On the occasion, 67 teachers were facilitated. School education minister Vijay Shah and minister of state school education Deepak Joshi were also present.
The CM appreciated the efforts of teachers for lighting the education torch in rural and tribal areas of the state. “Teachers posted in deep rural and remote areas are showing their exemplary work, from Mandla, Dindori, Dhar and importantly the children of Baiga tribes are getting admission in IITs and IIMs, just because of breathless effort of the government teachers,” he added.
He also remembered his schooling time in the school and remembered his teachers and trip to Mumbai and Goa. “This school gave me the opportunity to develop the quality of leadership, by contesting the students’ union elections,” he stated. Vijay Shah said the department would shortly recruit 40,000 teachers.
The first women Sanskrit school will be established in the state. In the schools the books related to all religion and community festivals and picture books based on biography of Deen Dayal Upadhaya had been prepared. The government is committed to providing computer lab, smart class and air condition auditorium in every excellence school to improve quality of education. Expressing concern on deteriorating results of schools Deepak Joshi said, “In some schools the result is 90 per cent and in some only 15, which is alarming.”
