HOSHANGABAD: Under the aegis of Central Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank, a mega camp of self help group was organised on Thursday in village Sukhtava of Kesla for financing, collector Avinash Lavania addressed the woman members and said that these group are using the loans properly for self employment.
He also appreciated the efforts of the bank for the development of self help group.
The chairman of Central MP Gramin bank Vivek Kumar explained the problems which are arise when the loan has been taken from other financial institution at high interest rate and made them understood to raise the income by taking the loan from bank at low interest rate. NABARD general manager Anoop Kumar made understood the ladies to pay the loan on time and also motivates them to raise the standard of the life. He also praised the work of central MP Gramin Bank.
Almost 1200 women were participated in this convention.
The loan of Rs 1 crore 80 lakhs was distributed to 65 self help group of near by villages of Sukhtava.
A free health check up was also organised in the camp in which the doctors of Keshav hospital, Hoshangabad came and did the free health check up of almost 1000 women and distributed medicines to them.
