BHOPAL: A 58-year-old builder called up his kin after consuming poisonous substance and died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in TT Nagar area on Wednesday. After consuming poison, he himself approached hospital where he died during treatment. According to investigation officer ASI Bhujram, the deceased Subodh Sethi, lived at government quarters in Tulsi Nagar area.
He was a private builder whereas his wife Ankita Sethi is a government employee and the quarter was allotted to her. The couple has two sons. On Thursday afternoon around 3 pm after taking lunch, Subodh left home whereas his wife was in her office and son had gone to his college. At around 3:30pm, the builder called his wife and other family members over phone one by one and told them that he has consumed poison and it was his last call to them.
Later when his condition started deteriorating, Subodh himself reached Red Cross hospital where he died during treatment. After learning about the incident, his wife along with her son also reached hospital and later police were informed regarding the incident.
