BHOPAL: The attack through Twitter by Prahlad Patel on Vyapam scam, continued for the second day on Friday. This time Patel posted as many as five tweets indirectly targeting chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Patel wrote that it is necessary to introspect as to why the administrative set up, which failed in saving our future generations from loot, could not be checked by political vision.
Patel wrote those who took bribe, were punished but he awaits the day when those who gave bribe and motivated to give bribe, will be punished. He wrote he was asked the rationale behind tweeting on Vyapam issue, several inferences could be drawn out if one thinks from political angle, but his intentions are clear about change in system. Patel further wrote that those who paid bribe were punished but it is disheartening that the future of those, who were into medical practice, has been shattered into pieces. What would, those who deserved get. Those who studied medical science for six years are now nothing. Father, son and future generations would be affected.
Earlier, Patel was vocal against minister Sanjay Pathak in Katni Hawala scam. Patel was also articulate against arbitrariness of administrative officials in coordination meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
The attacks by Patel on its own party’s government has sensationalised the party circles. Patel had raised the issue of Dumper scam against Chouhan in 2006. Political speculations are rife over Patel, who was silent for more than three years getting articulate all of a sudden on Vyapam scam.
BJP spokesman Rajnish Agarwal said action was immediately taken, as soon as irregularity in Vyapam was noticed by the government. He said the decision on medical students was given by the Supreme Court, which all should honour.
