Bhopal: Police personnel give Rs 7.5 crore for martyrs’ families

Bhopal: The director general of police have submitted a cheque of Rs 7.5 crore to the chief minister Kamal Nath for the families of jawans who laid their lives in Pulwama attack, here on Thursday.

The ADG and the officer on special duty Pragya Richa Shrivastava informed that over 1.25 lakh police personal have contributed their one day salary for the fund as a mark of respect to the martyrs and their families.

The amount will be given to the director general CRPF to be distributed among the 40 affected families. The fund aims to help families meet out their finances.
