Bhopal: Petition challenging allotment to Patanjali heard by HC bench

BHOPAL: High court of Madhya Pradesh bench at Indore heard the writ petition filed by Tapan Bhattacharya challenging the allotment of 40-acre industrial land to Patanjali (Baba Ramdev) for establishment of a food industry at Pithampura, Indore, on Thursday.

Additional AG Purushaindra Kaurav informed that Tapan Bhattacharya has also appealed to include CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan as a respondent. The application was filed for reviving, in hearing, the name of CM from parties, wherein, on hearing the counsels, the court allowed the application ordering to delete the name of CM from parties. Advocate AM Mathur Sen appeared for the petitioner and advocate Sunil Jain additional AG with Shrey Saxena appeared in behalf of the state government and AKVN respectively.
