BHOPAL: Owner of evening Hindi daily Sandhya Prakash, Bharat Patel and his wife Smita Patel were arrested by TT Nagar police on Tuesday here. There was a permanent warrant against the two in a check-bounce case and not presenting themselves before the court for the same from the last three years, police said.  According to police, the two were accused of giving a cheque of Rs 7 lakh to a travel company named ICU Air in a financial transaction. When the company deposited the cheque in the bank, it bounced back due to insufficient money in the accused’s bank account. The victim company had then filed a case against the two in a local court in which the two were absent from the hearing from the last three years. The court had then issued a permanent warrant against them on the basis of which they were arrested on Tuesday afternoon. The two were granted bail after they deposited an amount of Rs 7 lakh cash before the court in lieu of the bounced cheque.
