Bhopal: NST win inaugural match by 48 runs against PR

Bhopal: The 24th IES-DIGIANA Inter-Press Cricket Tournament was inaugurated at Old Campion ground by sports minister Jeetu Patwari and public relations minister PC Sharma. The first match was played between National Sports Times (NST) and Public Relations team. NST won the toss, chose to bat first and scored 158 runs in given 10 overs at a loss of 8 wickets.

Sanjay Sharma scored 46 runs while Jeetu Bagre scored 35 runs for the team. Chasing the target, Public Relations team got all-out at 110 runs and lost the match by 48 runs. Sanjay Sharma Radharaman was given man of the match title. A total of 50 teams are participating in this tournament. Twelve teams will play league matches while 38 teams will play knock-out matches. President MP Builders’ Association, Dilip Raguwanshi, Director, DIGIANA, Tejinder Singh, state vice-president, Vijesh Lunawat and many others were present in the inaugural ceremony.
