Bhopal: Now Swine flu confirmation test report will be available on the same day. Earlier, samples were sent to Pune, Jabalpur and Delhi for confirmation test. At present, it takes three to four days. With six months, there will be viral culture in Hamidia Hospital Bhopal.
Similarly, Kidney translation will be possible in Hamidia Hospital. Minister for Medical Education Dr Vijaylaxmi Sadho said it while inaugurating virology lab at Gandhi Medical College (GMC), Bhopal, on Saturday.
Minister further said, “With this virology lab, hepatitis –a, hepatitis –c, hepatitis –e, dengue, chikungunya, rubella, zika, rotavirus test will be possible at state level.” Sadho also inaugurated multi level parking in GMC and Hamidia Hospital premises. It is one of the 10 labs of the country.
