BHOPAL: BJP MLA from Bhind Narendra Kushwaha raised the issue of no action being taken in the case of a ‘computer scam’ for six long years. The case was registered by Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in September 2011. Kushwaha told the House during Question Hour that even after the passage of so many years, neither the probe had been completed nor any action had been taken against the accused.
Some of the officers accused in the case, have turned 75 but due to non-completion of probe, no action has been taken against them. GAD minister Lal Singh Arya said the probe was underway and all the facts were yet to be unearthed. He said till the probe got over, no action would be taken. “The information revealed so far is not enough to register an FIR,” he said.
