Bhopal: ‘More efficient staff needed in Dial-100’

BHOPAL: Dial-100 has controlled crime in the state and number of incidents can even drop further, if station house officer deputes efficient police staff in Dial-100 FRV, said additional director general Anvesh Manglam at the inaugural function of two-day training programme of 100 SHOs, on Thursday.

He asked the SHOs that efficient staff posted in Dial-100 can give relief to the victim as early as possible. He informed that to improve the GIS maps POI should visit to collect the correct information and for that talented staff should be deputed, as correct information can save the last and important 5-10 minutes.

He informed that since the Dial-100 programme had been launched on November 1, 2015, FRVs have reached more than 24 lakh places. In the FRVs 9000 policemen are working and in every month around 30 lakh kilometre these FRVs are running. He also added that in coming months the department is going to recruit new policemen. The Dial-100 will get 6000 policemen, who will be deputed on the FRVs.
