The issues, which were dominant during assembly polls have vanished during Lok Sabha polls in the state. In a gap of merely four months between Lok Sabha polls and assembly polls, the issues of Atrocity Act and farm loan waiver have subsided. These issues have been replaced by dynamics related to Modi and Rahul Gandhi.  The constituencies of Morena, Bhind, Gwalior and Guna fall under Gwalior-Chambal region. Out of 34 constituencies in this region, Congress won on 26 seats, BJP on 7 seats while BSP  got one seat. The issue of Atrocity Act was dominant in the region during assembly polls. The ordinance on amendment by Centre on the Act had made voters go against BJP in this region.

Scindia factor too worked during assembly polls. People wanted Scindia as CM and they voted for Congress candidates.  The works done by government in three months have not made much impact on people. The change in present scenario in state after Lok Sabha election is much talked about than the works of the government.
