SHIVPURI: Sports and youth welfare minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, while reviewing the condition of roads in the district said the state government’s attitude had always been positive. Shortage of funds would not be allowed in the way of construction of roads. She said 29 new roads had been sanctioned for Shivpuri. At the meeting held in Bhopal, principal secretary of PWD Pramod Agarwal and collector Shivpuri Omprakash Shrivastava were present.
Scindia said the issue of Rajrajeswari Road was pending in a court and the hearing was likely over the next couple of days. She said the construction of road from bypass to Circuit House would be launched soon.
