BHOPAL: A former contractual employee of MP Tourism was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Jain Colony under Nishatpura police station on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. The family of the deceased owned two houses in the city. One of the houses is in Jain Colony where the deceased lived and his body was found there. He was posted in Khajuraho as a contractual staffer.
According to the police the deceased has been identified as Vidhyadhar Jain, 24, who was found in an unconscious state at his house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The Investigating Officer SI Banwarilal said food poisoning or cardiac arrest might be reason but nothing could be ascertained and would be confirmed after receiving the post mortem report. A police team reached the spot and found that the door was found locked from inside. When they made forced entry the deceased was found in an unconscious state and later declared dead by doctors, he added. The deceased used to work with MP Tourism in Khajuraho and before around two months he lost his job. The job was of contractual nature and he served for around four months.
