BHOPAL: Minister for commerce and industries, Rajendra Shukla, addressing ‘India-Arab Parternship Conference in Muscat on Wednesday, said that Madhya Pradesh is known as island of peace for safe investment. Bharat-Oman Refinery in Bina of Sagar district is working successfully. The current capacity of the refinery is 1.20 lakh barrels per day. The state government has allotted land to the refinery at concessional rates and has also exempted from entry tax on crude oil for 15 years.
A delegation led by Union minister of state for foreign affairs, MJ Akbar has gone to attend the conference.
