BHOPAL: The Aishbagh police have registered a case on charges of fraud against director of Laxmi Narayan College of Technology and Jai Narayan College of Technology under section 420 of IPC.
Suprabhat Chouksey, nephew of Jai Narayan Chaukse, lodged the complaint accusing him of selling 15.5 acres of land of SBI Housing Society by using forged papers. The complainant alleged that at the time when the sale deed was signed his father was the chairman of housing society while Jai Narayan posed himself as the chairman.
As per police sources, complainant Suprabhat Chouksey, 36, resident of Pushpa Nagar, Aishbagh, filed a written complaint in this regards two months ago. In his complaint he stated that the office of the SBI Housing Society is located in Pushpa Nagar. His father Suresh Chouksey, who expired in January this year, was the chairman of the society in the year 2013 when the fraud was committed.
He alleged that the society owned 34 acres of land in Banjari area under Kolar police station, which was sold to HK Cultural Society by accused Jai Narayan on March 30, 2013 for Rs 3 crore. The sale deed was executed in the name of Ashish Jaiswal, a member of HK Cultural Society.
He alleged that Jai Narayan falsely presented himself as the chairman of the SBI Housing Society and signed the deal on behalf of the society without taking approval of the members.
Jai Narayan was the managing trustee of the HK Cultural Society at that time. Suprabhat Chouksey said that his uncle Jai Narayan sold the land without informing the members of society.
