Crime against women continues unabated in state capital. A law student was molested at high profile International fast food outlet — McDonald’s situated at DB Mall. MP Nagar SHO Manish Rai said 21-year-old complainant lives in Arera Colony and studies in Law college. In her complaint she told police that on Sunday evening she along with her friends had gone to McDonald at DB Mall.
While she was standing in queue for her token, an unidentified middle-aged man who was in adjacent queue touched her in inappropriately. As the girl raised alarm, security guards rushed to her, however, by then the man had fled from the spot. A case under Section 354 of IPC has been registered against unidentified man. Police are scanning CCTV footage at outlet but no arrested was made as yet.
