BHOPAL: “Law and order under the Congress regime has become Lo aur order Karo,” said BJP national president Amit Shah, in an apparent reference to alleged corruption in the large number of transfer orders being issued by the new state government after it came to power in December last year.

Taking a dig at the state government, Shah alleged that the Congress-led state government had cheated the farmers in the name of farm loan waiver. Loan of Rs 50,000 crore was supposed to be waived but the state government did not even waive Rs 5000 crore so far.

Its tenure of two months had cleared that the government does not believe in farmers’ welfare but has more concern for middlemen and its own comfort, said Shah.

Shah said the cheating with the farmers would be made an election issue. Shah alleged that the state government did not send a list of farmers who were eligible for Samman Nidi, under which Rs 6000 would be given to every farmer.

Shah said the government, led by Narendra Modi, had launched 133 schemes and Shivraj government was leading in instant execution of schemes like Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojana along with schemes related to electricity, road and irrigation but Kamal Nath government after coming to power put a check on all the Centre-run schemes.

Appreciating the Modi government at the Centre, Shah said the defence budget of the nation had reached to Rs 3 lakh crore. Prime Minister Modi has also shown by surgical and air strikes, the consequences of fiddling with the frontiers of India. Modi government has given free hand to the soldiers to give befitting reply to every reaction.

Shah also took a jibe at Congress president Rahul Gandhi and alleged that Rahul should be ashamed of asking for proofs of air strikes. No one should suspect when Indian Air Force has stated of demolishing terror camps, added Shah.
