Bhopal: The chief minister has instructed the officials to inspect and to keep tight vigil on the government, private and government aided girl’s hostel, here on Saturday. The orders came in the wake of an alleged case of sexual exploitation reported which reportedly occurred at a shelter home in Ratlam.
The CM has instructed that social audits of the hostels be conducted and background of the hostel operators be checked. He has directed the officials to conduct one to one meeting with the girls to prevent their exploitation. He added that cases of exploitation have been reported from all over the state, including Bhopal, Gwalior among others. He added that such types of cases are reported in Ratlam and Jawara also.
He asked the officials to stopped such activities in the hostels and ensure safety of girls. He directed officials to take special care of the girls who are specially abled, because they are among most soft targets of the criminals. He asked that the trend of the old government shall be stopped and the false investigation report shall be stopped strictly.
