BHOPAL: The Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) will organise a two-day conclave ‘Coalescence 2016’ themed on “Business, Climate Change and Society -Bridging the Sustainability Divide”, which will focus on contemporary socio-environmental issues, climate change and management of natural resources keeping in mind the need of communities and the constraints of nature at IIFM Campus, Nehru Nagar, Bhopal. The meet begins on Saturday.
The Chief guest will be Dr. Ravindra Pastor, commissioner, Ujjain. Welcome address will be delivered by Prof. A.K. Dharni, chairperson SAAC, IIFM. Following this an alumnus of IIFM, Amit Jain, co-founder and CEO, Health point Services and Rohini Chaturvedi, Strategy Head, World Resources Institute will address the audience. Apart from this Yogakshema: CSR Model Competition and Daksh: Business Plan Competition will be held that will provide a platform for participants to showcase their skills. The first day of the conclave will be concluded with a panel discussion focused on the theme of conclave.
This conclave seeks to imbibe values of environmental responsibility, economic viability and human justice to create sustainable solutions for problems pertaining to varied arenas. Coalescence will bring together leaders in the field of environment and development sectors who will enlighten the audience through keynote addresses, panel discussions and competitions.
