BHOPAL: High Court, Jabalpur has put a stay on land acquisition for the ‘Smart Road’ project responding to a petition filed by the Arabian Garden representatives to save their property on Thursday. BMC will leave the portion and continue the drive in other sections through which the road will pass.
Deputy commissioner Harish Gupta informed that they had came to know that petitioner Arabian Garden, had filed the case in High Court. The HC had stayed the BMC acquisition drive of the garden land area, whereas the detailed study of the court instruction would be done, after which BMC would work accordingly, Gupta said.
