SEHORE: A hi-tech library will be coming up soon in the town for the benefit of the students preparing for civil services and other competitive examinations. Another floor would be constructed in the existing municipal library building located at bus stand, where 36 computer systems would be provided for the students.
Around 250 books related with competitive examinations are already available in the library and more would be bought. As many as 540 students have enrolled as members of the library and around 300 are visiting it daily. The new wing of the library will be air conditioned and a water cooler would be provided. The municipal CMO, who has great interest in books, visits the library everyday and enquires from the students about the problems they are facing and tries to solve them. One of the students, who has been selected for appointment as clerk in a bank said that the library would be very useful for students who do not have the means to buy expensive books.
