Bhopal: Girl trafficker’s free run ends, sent to police remand

BHOPAL: A girl child trafficker who had escaped from police custody in 2015 was arrested by Awadhpuri police on Friday. He was later produced in a court from where he was sent into police remand. According to reports, Santosh Shinde, 47, had escaped with handcuffs from Ayodhya Nagar police station. Later, a cash reward of Rs 5,000 was announced on his head. As per the police he was arrested under sections 363, 366, 368 and various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act).
