Bhopal: Four bookies nabbed while accepting bets

Bhopal: Police arrested four bookies while accepting bets on India-New Zealand one-day cricket match on Sunday at Second No. Bus Stop under TT Nagar police station.

The accused have been identified as Manish alias Monu Sharma, 32, resident of Ashoka Garden, Ravindra Khatka, 26, of Kolar, Kamal Khatka, 28, if Sadar and Mohammed Ishaq, 35, resident of North TT Nagar.

As per the police, acting on a tip of, police swung into action and cordoned the areas. Rs 3,200, 20 mobile handsets, four pens, slips of Rs 2 lakh, one calculator have been recovered from bookies.
