BHOPAL: Nazirabad police have arrested four persons for thrashing Gulab Singh on Tuesday. The accused also threatened to continue such ill-treatment if he does not give Rs 6 lakh and 10 tola gold.
Accused are Hakam Singh, Mehrab Singh, Kamal Singh and Mangilal. Complainant Gulab Singh and Chand Mian were sleeping near the well in the field. The accused approached him and thrashed Gulab Singh and broke pipes. Accused even threatened him to give Rs 6 lakh cash and 10 tola gold.
Investigation officer Rajendra Singh Yadav said, “Gulab Singh’s granddaughter was married to Hakam Singh. Hakam singh kept woman of other person. Gulab Singh granddaughter divorced and married to person whose wife was married to Hakam Singh.”
