BHOPAL: Exchange of pleasantries between UAD minister Jaivardhan Singh and BJP stalwart Babulal Gaur has generated heat in political circles as news has been hitting headlines that Congress offered Lok Sabha ticket to Gaur. The news, that Congress has offered Lok Sabha ticket to Gaur after a lunch between Digvijaya Singh and Babulal Gaur. Today, another chapter got added to series of incidences which will fuel the political chatter for long. Going extra mile, UAD Minister Jaivardhan Singh advised the party workers to follow BJP stalwart Babulal Gaur if they want to achieve something in politics. They are expected to learn much more from Babulal Gaur saheb, Jaivardhan added.
Singh said it while addressing public meeting at bhoomi-pujan programme in Bhopal on Sunday. BJP MLA Krishna Gaur, daughter in-law of Babulal Gaur, was present at the event. Jaivardhan is the youngest cabinet minister in Madhya Pradesh. “I am just 32 and Babulal Gaur has been MLA for 45 years so he has vast experience as far politics is concerned. He is good friend of my father. So I request all to take advantage of Gaur saheb if you want to excel in politics,” UAD minister added.
Ex-CM Babulal Gaur, reciprocated to Jaivarsdhan’s adulation said, “You are minister of a department (urban development administration) which covers 2.5 crore population of urban areas.” Previously, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh had visited Gaur and had lunch after Assembly results. Even Gaur had claimed that Congress offered him Lok Sabha ticket. On his decision about the offer Gaur said, “I haven’t thought about this offer yet. I heard his offer, (and) will keep (it) in mind.”
