BHOPAL: In a meeting organised at Collectorate here on Monday, collector Nishant Warwade gave instructions regarding checking of driving licenses of school bus drivers and fitness of buses. Warwade instructed district education officer (DEO) to ensure that all norms set for school buses, in consultation with school management, are being complied with. The driving licenses of school bus drivers and fitness of school buses should also be checked.
Collector Warwade instructed DEO to get compliance done in set time limit. District panchayat, chief executive officer (CEO), Ashish Bhargava, additional district magistrate (ADM), GP Maali, Disha Pranay Nagwanshi, Ratnakar Jha and officers of other departments were present.
Warwade in the meeting also reviewed the preparations made for wheat procurement. He expressed his annoyance over delay in sanction and distribution by banks in cases related to various self-employment schemes. He asked the officers to contact bankers and get the process of sanctioning and distribution done.
