KATNI: Gunjan Kala Parishad, a socio-cultural organisation of the district is working for the past 15 years. The organisation has established a “Swavlamban Rozgar Prashikshan Kendra” near Mangal Nagar Pulia. The centre was inaugurated by the local MLA Sandeep Jaiswal, Mayor Dr Shashank Shrivastava, Arun Jain, member child welfare committee, Jabalpur, additional collector Dr Sunanda Panchbhai, local corporator Dinesh Mishra and others.
The programme began with the garlanding of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. The guests saw the dona pattal, die press and electronic sewing machines installed at the centre. The trainers Rakesh Shakhya, Dwarka Prasad Kori, Raghu Kumar and the superintendent of the Centre Venu Shakhya welcomed the guests, who appreciated the initiative. The programme was conducted by Mukesh Shakya, chairman of the committee.
