“Hackers and cyber criminals always try to steal your password, so we need to stay alert all the time,” said superintendent of cyber cell Rajesh Bhadoriya at the seminar on: Sensitization of Information and Cyber Security in Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication. He told the audience about various methods of cyber crimes and how to avoid them.
The seminar was organised by the new media technology department (NMT) of Makhanlal University and was inaugurated by superintendent of cyber cell Rajesh Bhadoriya, rector Lajpat Ahuja, registrar Sanjay Dwivedi and head of the department (NMT) P Shashikala.
The seminar was divided into 7sessions. Rector said that cyber crime is growing rapidly and new media needs to make a protective model to stop this. In the second session technical expert of cyber cell, Abhishek Sonkar told the students about various facets of cyber crimes and also shared various real life incidents of cyber crimes and how they were tackled.
In the third session Raghu Pandey talked about how internet is affecting the lives of people and how users can protect him from cyber crimes through internet maturity. Ankita Srivastava talked about e-publishing, digital archives and information security. Faculties and students of NMT department attended the seminar.
